Thanks to Daniel Masur for this Tutorial
Optional (not needed)
Use ENB Series to "up" the graphics Download ENB Series DirectX plugin dll:http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=HDR%20Mod%20ENB%20for%20rFactor%20and%20RBR Put the d3d9.dll into \rFactor\ next to your rFactor.exe Install XVid Video Codec www.xvid.org/Downloads.15.0.htmlConfigure rFactor to export replays using XVid 1. Find this line in \rFactor\UserData\YourName\YourName.PLR file: AVI compressor fourcc="cvid" 2. Change to: AVI compressor fourcc="xvid" Configure rFactor to export replays in HD 1. Find this line in your \rFactor\UserData\YourName\YourName.PLR file: AVI export width="800" 2. Change to: AVI export width="1920" 3. Find this line in your \rFactor\UserData\YourName\YourName.PLR file: AVI export height="600" 4. Change to: AVI export height="1080" Save and close the file. Remove menu music This is a BUG!!
Main menu background music is throughout the whole exported video Delete or completely move all files in \rFactor\music\ out of that folderDo the work 1. Start rFactor and open your replay 2. Do the video cutting and save every few minutes as rFactor crashes regularly !!!!! IMPORTANT !!!!!BUG!! The first export will always be missing the sound effects. 3. So start an export at 30 FPS, and abort it after a few seconds using CTRL+X (?) 4. Start another export straight away, this one will have all the sounds in the exported video 5. Find your exported replay in \rFactor\Replay Fridge\Movies\ Do extra cutting or effects with video editing software at 30FPS (optional). Put in (low volume, so we can still hear the engines!!!) background music. Add extra effects Whatever Export from the video editing software, upload to youtube and show off
