So here's P3ngu1n's R33 Convert from D1AS to PD2 !
Post taken from the Facebook Group
Hey guys,
This is something I've been playing around with lately after a friend really wanted an updated drifting R33 in Project D(The current R33 in PD is too hard to get your hands on ).
I took the R33 from the D1 All Stars mod and added parts to it from existing Project D cars and had some help updating the physics on the car.
The car works as an
ADD-ON to the Project D mod and
DOES NOT REQUIRE D1AS TO BE INSTALLED to use this car, nor does it interfere with any existing D1AS mods that may already be installed.
All it needs is the Project D mod installed. It also should not interfere with the current PD R33 but I'm not 100% sure on that.
This car is bound to have bugs as this is pretty much my first try ever at playing around behind the scenes with a car in rFactor so if you find any I would greatly appreciate being told what it was so I can try fix it.

Download the Fix herePrerequisites for install1. rFactor Installed
2. Project D mod installed
3. Fredrick Aasbo Supra Drift mod installed (Optional, only required for the 2JZ-GTE engine sounds)
(D1AS does NOT need to be installed, this car works as an add-on to Project D) Installing the carRecommended to delete the GameData\Vehicles\Project_D 2.0\Skyline R33v2 folder before install if you have installed any previous versions
Copy the GameData folder from the rar file and paste it into the root folder of your rFactor install, merging it with the GameData in your install
ContentThe updated car has (in comparison to the orignal D1AS car):
- Updated physics suitable for both grip and drift driving
- New engine upgrades system
- Stock body kit from the R33's original Forza model
- Added wings from Project D
- Added wheels from Project D
- New paint selection
- Few other minor additions
Currently known bugs-The texture around the outside of the gauges is buggy
-The interior during onling play may sometimes go pure white (May be fixed)
-Some parts appear incorrectly on the spinner but appear fine on track
-Speedometer needle angle is set correctly but does not line up with the values properly, I suspect a bad texture
CreditsThanks to:
D1 All Stars mod team for the car model
Project D mod team for the added rims and wings
Chris Kendrick for his huge help with the physics and upgrades system
Chris Kendrick and Ryan Smith for their awesome tyres
The creater of the RB26 sounds (I'm sorry, I looked really hard for you and still don't know who did them, if you let me know who you are I'll throw you in credits or remove the sounds if you prefer)
(Note: I more or less don't want the credit for making this car as most of the parts I used I did not make on my own, if there is something on this car that you did not get credited for or want it removed just let me know.)
