I just created the skins using gimp and exported them with generated mipmaps. I'm very new to making skins so sorry about the bother . EDIT: I guess the first picture was broken so i reuploaded it. ALSO SORRY ADMINS IF I POSTED IN THE WRONG SECTION

Both of these textures need to be the same for each paintjob, just the EXTRA0 is a little more transparent for better visibility in the cockpit. So: S14zenki_BURST.dds = main outside skin S14zenki_BURSTWINDOW.dds = outside window skin S14zenki_BURSTEXTRA0.dds = inside window skin The issue with the hood is because of a the .gen files: -Open both the "S14_Zenki_upgrades.gen" and "S14_Zenki_upgrades_nodefrost.gen" files with any text editor / notepad. -Find this part near the start: Instance=SLOT<ID> { Moveable=True MeshFile=s14zenki_body.gmt CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(0.00) LODOut=(500.0) ShadowReceiver=True -Replace with: Instance=SLOT<ID> { Moveable=True MeshFile=s14zenki_body.gmt CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(0.00) LODOut=(500.0) ShadowReceiver=True MeshFile=<BONNET> CollTarget=false HATTarget=False LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(500.0) ShadowReceiver=True This is sort of a cheap fix but it works, the hood will be visible in every view now

Excel240k Semi-Pro Drifter Posts: 128 Joined: December 2014 Currently Offline Gender: Male	[SOLVED] Just looking for help on a skin Jul 15, 2015 22:11:35 GMT Post by Excel240k on Jul 15, 2015 22:11:35 GMT For most cars all you have to do is add a new .dds skin with any name into the Skins folder of the car, but for this S14 it's a little different because it uses those 2 extra skins for the windows, but try this: -Make a new folder in the Teams folder, name it whatever you want. -Copy one of the .veh files from one of the other skin folders, paste it in your new folder, and rename it to whatever you want. -Make your 3 new skin files and paste them in the folder, rename them to whatever you want but just keep the "WINDOW" and "EXTRA0" parts in the names. -Edit the .veh file with any text editor/notepad and change the "Default Livery=" to be the same name as your new skin, save and it should work. Example: New Folder = EXCELSUPER1337HAX Skins = excel.dds, excelWINDOW.dds, excelEXTRA0.dds .veh file = DefaultLivery=excel.dds then you'll have another option in the game for your skin, it'll be the same name as the folder
