logwar Driveway Drifter Posts: 3 Joined: March 2015 Currently Offline Gender: Male	Pease help sp mod Mar 27, 2015 9:06:53 GMT Post by logwar on Mar 27, 2015 9:06:53 GMT I just bought rfactor off steam and have downloaded and installed the sp mod it loads up and works bit soon as I have selected a car and track and go to load it stops loading and when I go back to the desktop it says (error loading texture math for material common_sp_blueflare) please help I just want to drift in the game and I can't and it is getting frustrating cheers in advance

If you run the game in DX8 or DX7 you might find the paints will always stay black and you might get lightflare errors when trying to load on track. To fix the flare issue either run DirectX 9 mode or set your player and opponent detail to medium or low, which turns the flares off on the cars." to switch to DirectX9 go to your rFactor install dir and double click rF Config.exe and set shader level to Quality (DX9)

logwar Driveway Drifter Posts: 3 Joined: March 2015 Currently Offline Gender: Male	Pease help sp mod Mar 31, 2015 8:34:49 GMT Post by logwar on Mar 31, 2015 8:34:49 GMT When I go to load one of the cars out of the pack it stops loading about 8/10 of the way and stops and I minimise the game and when I get back to desktop it comes up with the blueflare error and when I click back into the game I am loaded in the map but with a invisible car the only car that works on the pack is the 180sx is there a link to another mod that will allow me to get drift cars and drift cos this is pissing me off

Sometimes if you just click extract it will not be in the proper order or will have an extra unnecessary folder. It should install just as the folders are that came with the game. Double click the .rar file to open it up and make sure you see the folders Gamedata, Uidata, etc... Then extract to your rfactor folder
