So ive seen those videos with people that having goggles on their or caps with sensors etc for looking left and right (YAW). I have been researching this for a bit because i don't have a budget for those expensive toys and found something that really works great.
Only things u need is something witch most people have, namely a descent webcam (list of reported working webcams here!)
Just download the full FaceTrackNoIR install package and install i choose everything to install when it finished installing open the program!
It looks like this and i reccomend these setting to use aswell:
Game protocol settings:
Now click on start and it should start tracking your facemovement
I suggest u only use the yaw (set in tracker source master - settings) function but u can use all the angle is u prefer now i cannot make a video of this in action because i cant drift using yaw lol i get all messed up ... i use this tracker for flight games myself. One more thing that important is good lighning
Nothing else needs to be set really it will automaticly work in the game u can play around with the curves etc to get the best experience.
I know this isn't a very in depth tutorial so if u still have questions ill try to answer them
yeah lol its not the optimal thing to use but it is free and u only need a good cam only thing bothered me was if it lost track it was hartd sometimes for the trackert to reset it self again but i used this when i wass low budget lol now i have triple scrreens i dont uise it anymore really lol
