Someone link me to some motivation music.

Today's changes: (hasn't been touched since October.)
-Fixed several areas of the chassis model to better suit a bumperless / fenderless car.
-Fixed several areas to better accommodate changeable parts; exhaust, windows, door line, etc.
-Added 2 VIP wheel conversions from Forza: Work Euroline DH, Lexani LT-704.
-Reworked every fender model after discovering an inaccuracy (wew).

I'll just...keep chugging away at this once every year...

EDIT:
-Recreated the car in-game, will be trying to create the car with a different method that should allow for more customization with paints/paintjobs/window tints/window stickers.
-Working on a gutted interior model.

Since I've 'restarted' the mod, nothing is done yet.


...but, on the previous version of the car from October, it featured:

-Removable bumpers
-Removable fenders
-Removable mirrors
-Removable tail lights
-Removable headlights

and at one point it did even have dented body panels.




^ Here's the front with the converted Work Euroline Rims. As you can see, the car has a lightly modeled front end just so it doesn't look hideous if you choose to remove the bumpers/fenders/hood.

Missing in this picture, but was done on the previous october build:
-Suspension w/ Arms, Coils, Swaybars, etc
-Option for FMIC or stock reservoir tanks.

With both applied, the bottom part of this picture really fills itself up  

If I do make dented/missile body parts again, it will just be with the stock kit.

If someone could do me a solid and locate the name / brand of this hood, would be very appreciative

Today's Progress:
Gutted Interior - 80% Complete

I probably did more work than was needed with the interior, so it's taken quite a while. Still need to do minor detail work, add the steering shaft going into the firewall, add a mess of wiring, create a gutted door model, and a new gear stick / ebrake to go with the interior.

I may be consistently biting off more than i can chew with this car, the amount of tuning options I want to try and accomplish will probably end up breaking the game

Also don't worry about performance of this mod, it loads up in the game like a champ. You can stuff a track full of 30 of these and it still won't catch much lag, and I have no idea why. Let's hope that stays the same until the final builds.

So some things have changed.

Finished the gutted interior and all the bits that go with it, and made the OEM interior more friendly for switching the parts around.
As of now the upgrades list looks something like this:


So yeah, the list looks empty right now but eventually it'll fill up with mods.You can change a lot of little shit; Ebrake, pedals, knob, the interior mirrors (and outside eventually), and YES, wheel color will be a universal upgrade that will work on all wheels in the mod. I found a pretty efficient way of changing object colors without having to duplicate large files, meaning I can cut down on the mods overall size immensely, while being able to provide a much larger amount of customization. The only downside to this method is that the changes in color can only be seen on-track instead of in the menu.

There's still a lot to fuck around with on this game tho, so all of this could be changed even further if I find even another even more efficient way.

Nothing huge here; the 4 brake upgrade options that will be available, worst -> best.
