Instructions are included for manual installation if you already have a modded version of SP Mod. Quick installation files are only recommended for an unmodified version of SP Mod 1.0, but should also work with the [62's] Garage addon.
Post all badass screenshots of the mod here, I expect one from everyone who downloads the mod and gets it working.
Well, I had planned on having this released by now; but I've run into a pretty good problem. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, or if anyone who reads this knows any experienced rfactor modders, please see if they have any solutions:
The last handful of the upgrades in the upgrades list / upgrades.ini simply won't work online. In a solo race, it's fine, but online the upgrades simply wont take affect. I've tried debunking this myself already, by rewriting my upgrades.ini a few times now, and testing some theories, but nothing wants to work.
Theories tested: -File size (over 100kb?) = Doesnt matter -Amount of upgrades(174) = Doesnt matter -Amount of Instances = Doesnt matter -Amount of code lines (2100) = Untested, although when referencing other mods, some exceed 2500 lines and still work properly. -Format, Typo's, Brackets = Doesnt matter -Server limitations = Nope -Server Conflicts = Nope -Game profile? = Created a new one, no change.
This is becoming a real headache...yeah. Fingers crossed for something really simple and stupid.
Thanks, but no luck so far. I've checked over the upgrade file about 100 times now, I'm certain there is no problem with it, so I'm gonna have to say this is a problem with the game itself or somewhere else within the mod.
I guess I'll continue to work on the mod and finish it, but it'll have to be for offline use only until someone can figure it out.
only the lights, still not sure what to do with the rest. All of the model work is completed now, but I can't get any help with the upgrade issue. The problem is so inconsistent and hard to pinpoint that I really don't know what to do to get the most out of the mod.
