The mod will still work without doing this but some cars like the 370z will show up under SP Addons instead of SP mod. Go to your rfactor install and delete these folders if they exist: "GameData\Vehicles\SP Mod" "GameData\Vehicles\Project_D 2.0\Nissan 370z z34" "GameData\Vehicles\Project_D 2.0\Nissan Oddvia" "GameData\Vehicles\Project_D 2.0\Mazda RX8 2011" You can follow progress of this mod in the SP Mod WIP thread Download link to mod: Mediafire www.mediafire.com/download/5fsxyghb1htsn5z/SP+Mod+v1.0+Fin.rar Templates www.mediafire.com/download/nrqag328s5s17wk/SP+Mod+Skinning+Templates.rar Installing the mod: 1. Extract the .rar file 2. Copy the contents of the rar file into your rFactor directory, merging the "GameData", "rFm", "Music" and "UIData" folders with the ones already there 3. If it asks you to overwrite any files, click yes. I have included some default rFactor files that you may already have and some files from existing mods, it won't harm your install4. Play the mod! Note: This mod was primarily designed around DirectX9 mode. If you run the game in DX8 or DX7 you might find the paints will always stay black and you might get lightflare errors when trying to load on track. To fix the flare issue either run DirectX 9 mode or set your player and opponent detail to medium or low, which turns the flares off on the cars. SP Mod is a mod designed around building a car to be whatever it is you want it to be. Take a stock car, turn it into a drift car, turn it into a race car, whatever you like. In saying that I know these cars will be used primarily for drifting. When building your car up be VERY careful what you put on it and what tyres you use, or you might find yourself trying to drift a grip demon race car. For a reference, the continental pro tyres are around the grip levels of PD2's Falken Tyre. With this mod in every car i spin out out every time, i cant do a noob corner. I took almost the same setups, engine power just like the s13 v2. Whats wrong? :/ By the way, very big congratulation for this mod, the details, the upgrades, the SOUNDS!!!! i like it, so i want to change my main mod to this (i used s13 v2, modded 800hp 1uz engine, with ryan smith tyres - bridgestone potenza)

Download and install this fix, I'm reuploading entire mod now with the fix in it so people don't need to download 4 things to make it work. But as for any other car that is the way they were intended to drive for this mod you might wanna try removing some aero and going down to a lower grade tyre to see if that helps But here is the temporary fix anyways. www.mediafire.com/download/y56n5gaw235stwq/Onevia.rar

You can join servers if you have SP Mod as your race series and you don't have onlinedrifting installed, but that's only a workaround. I just kept my cars seperate so it didn't mess up any PD installs. Dbox will be allowed to use these cars in a couple weeks I beleive when it gets updated

( only E46 with csl bumper. The inter-cooler overwhelms bumper) ---Physics: AT LAST!! a complete JDM culture mod with attention to physics (not generic easy to "drift"=float handling)! Every upgrade has effect and the stock physics are pretty good! i.e. BMW e92, the reference for me was the Shift Street mod e92 updated with Jtechracing HDV. It was close enough overall. My only observation is that Graphical offset-ride height-feelers settings need improvement. in the e92 at 5cm height (Tsukuba track--kw suspension) the car was undriveable (bottoms out all the time!) but even at 8cm height still bottoms out here and there. At the 180sx at 8cm height the car looked like 5cm etc. The suspensions if i can recall correctly had generic spring rates, swaybars...Can you use the real ones (i can provide specs that i use if you want. I think i have for 370z, e92, s204...)? The tires compered with Real Factor tires i think need improvement (the street tires more sharp and the semi slicks less sharper). Overall 8/10. ---ONE REQUEST: driving from the gorgeous cockpits has one "fault" the windscreens are too dark! How can i make the brighter (from upgrade gen? How?). Or can you update them? However, I will tell you that SP Mod was created with real world data of car weights and along with that, real world physics applications in the rFactor engine. Along with this, myself (that's me driving in my signature) and many others of the beta testing group drift or have drifted in real life. This allows us to provide informative feedback to the project lead in what feels good and what doesn't. This mod has been in some form of testing for the better part of seven months to dial in the physics and how cars react in addition to the tire model. This doesn't mean that the mod will be 100% representative of real life due to some limitations with rFactor, but we feel that it is fairly close. Thank you for the feedback.
